Dear Dr. Sloss,
I have put forward here your suggestion that you made to me the other day that the Colonial Office should sponsor a small committee to deal with immediate financial questions connected with the University and now pressing for settlement.
I agree that such a committee is desirable, consisting of yourself, Mr. Morse and a Colonial Office representative.
I have been asked to assume the latter function and perhaps Mr. Morse, to whom I am sending a copy of this letter, would be kind enough to let...
